Relieves aches and pains
This full body massage eases sore joints and swelling, allowing the mum-to-be to feel her best. This can be especially important as the pregnancy progresses and more postural changes occur.
Increased sense of well-being and calm
A happy and relaxed mum, creates a happy and relaxed baby. This is an hour just for you to rebalance and rejuvenate. Allowing you clarity of thought and an increased sense of well-being
Massage stimulates the flow of blood and lymph around the body, improving circulation and helping to decrease swelling.
After a soothing massage, you will hopefully be feeling calm and relaxed, it’s why I recommend these later in the day, then you can go home and nap or sleep. The relaxed state of mind allows you to fall into a deeper, more restorative sleep more easily.

Massage for Pregnancy FAQs
Do you use aromatherapy oils/essential oils?
No, I use grapeseed oil/almond oil, both oils are completely safe for mum-to-be and baby, whilst also being really hydrating.
Is a massage safe throughout pregnancy?
Pregnancy Massage is only offered in the second and third trimesters, this is when most people feel the need for a massage as the more physical changes are happening to their body.
How will I feel after the treatment?
Everyone responds differently to treatments, most of my clients leave feelings relaxed and sleepy. I would recommend having massage near a time when you can either have a nap or go to bed. After sleep clients often feel more positive and rejuvenated.
Will I be lying on my back?
No, to ensure your health and comfort, especially as the pregnancy progresses, you will be lying on your side, you will then turn half way through the treatment to allow the other side of your body to be massaged.
